BlueStar would like to take a moment to honor and thank our loyal managers, without whom our stellar guest service would not be possible. While all BlueStar employees are invaluable to our success, there is a select group that makes all the difference. In addition to putting in countless field hours, attending site inspections, guest service seminars, and administrative meetings, these managers go above and beyond to ensure that all guests get the BlueStar touch – incomparable guest satisfaction.
An introduction to our valet managers:
Anthony Beltran is not only an account manager, he heads our Hotel and Restaurant Division, and is responsible for the oversight of accounts including but not limited to Hotel Indigo, Hotel Virginia, Blue Tavern, Cadiz, Arch Rock Fish, the Santa Barbara Bowl, and Trattoria Mollie. Anthony has been with BlueStar for close to three years and continues to excel, surpassing any expectations on a daily basis. Not only has he helped us to acquire new accounts, he has diligently maintained our guest service standards and ensured our success throughout Santa Barbara and Montecito.
Brian Dobyns has also been a valuable asset to the BlueStar managerial staff for the last three years. He holds the Santa Barbara Bowl close to heart, managing every show, putting in twelve plus hour days and ensuring a flawless experience for the Bowl staff, concert tour staff, and of course, our VIP attendees. Brian’s contributions are not limited to the Santa Barbara Bowl however; he is also a top special events manager, private driver, and the assistant manager of the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club. Brian is an integral part of the BlueStar management team and guarantees our standards will be met and exceeded at some of our largest and most important events. Look for him at your next concert outing or around town. He will make sure you are properly taken care of and give you an insight to the true meaning of BlueStar guest service.
Red Severhill is a top special events manager, lead at Hotel Indigo and Blue Tavern and consistently takes care of our guests at Birnam Wood Golf Club in Montecito. Red has diligently worked his way up through the ranks over the last two years, proving himself time and time again. Taking pride in his ability to tackle difficult event logistics, Red constantly strives to make memorable and lasting relationships with our clientele throughout the area.
Warren Cassidy has been with BlueStar since 2010, taking a brief leave of absence last year. We are happy to welcome him back to our core group of managers and look forward to his continued dedication and proven in-field competence over our upcoming 2014 season. Warren’s first event with BlueStar was immense; valet service for over 1,500 guests, shuttle and private driving management and even the coordination of an elephant for the bride and groom’s arrival – all at a remote Southern California residence. After proving himself at such an enormous undertaking, we knew that Warren would be a valuable asset to the BlueStar team – we were right.
Ken Rife, Director of Operations
My name is Kenneth Rife, most of you know me as Ken, and I am proud and thankful to be BlueStar Parking’s Director of Operations. As Director of Operations, I am proud and grateful for this stellar management staff. Anthony, Brian, Red, and Warren have proven extremely valuable in the field. I have extreme confidence in our management team, whether they are under my direction at an important event, or managing an account on their own. As we look forward to another great year for BlueStar, I am confident that we will all meet and exceed any and all customer service needs asked of us!
