Santa Barbara Beautiful:

Expands, preserves and protects the urban forest through its Neighborhood Street Tree, Commemorative Tree, Arbor Day, and Tree Well programs.
Recognizes exceptional beautification efforts with its annual and monthly awards programs.
Actively participates in educational outreach through the Learning Tree and Arbor Day programs at local schools, internship and scholarship programs, the I Madonnari Festival, Earth Day celebrations and Community Education committee programs.
Promotes "Neighborhood Pride" by supporting the efforts of Looking Good Santa Barbara (regularly donating trees for neighborhood plantings) as well as renovating urban tree wells via Santa Barbara Beautiful’s Tree Well program.
Administers the Commemorative Tree program, whereby trees are dedicated in honor or memory of a loved one or in celebration of a special occasion.
Encourages and supports placement of art in public places throughout
the City.
